I hope you are well, and having a terrific Autumn.
I have been wanting to launch a new website for some time. My existing site has
always been essentially an online portfolio.
The new site, RichardChristianNelson.com will feature works available for purchase,
and also be a portal for blogs, email newsletters, and other fascinating new ways to
use the web. Eventually I'll have DVDs and books for sale there too.
As for 'Richard Christian', well... this is the name I was blessed with. Actually it's
a pretty cool name for a painter! Why did I not think of this when I started out 23
years ago (long before Google!)?
Of course you can always call me Rich. There are a bunch of artists named Rich or
Rick or Richard Nelson; a playwright, musicians, designers, glass artists (hey guys!).
There is even a gallery in California that is ... you guessed it, the Richard Nelson
Gallery! Sheesh!
Using my full name for some purposes should help avoid confusion down the line.

Great News!
I found out yesterday that my work will be on display in the Asheville Airport from
October 22- February 8! They are hanging seven paintings of all sizes. Very cool.
